Both rooms have beautiful views of the loch, the mountains, the gardens and the famous Ben Arthur (The Cobbler).A romantic luxurious stay for a couple, or a suite that will provide extra room to spread out for a small family of 3 or a group of 3 friends.Lochside Family Home for Special Moments A great holiday can be one stay in one place large enough for your group of friends or family to unwind for a bit, relax by the fire and together plan great day trips to most of Scotland’s mainland. (Exceptions would be: the far northwest, and all islands except Arran, Bute and Skye (however, we recommend at least 2 nights in Skye))Fascadail, which means Tranquil Place in Gaelic, allows you to unpack, sun or lounge on the deck overlooking loch and mountains, and maybe even sleep in a wee but before kicking off the day’s new journey or adventure. The toilet and sink are housed in a separate washroom while the extra large shower is between the bedroom and sitting room/bedroom for children or friends.Picture-Perfect Room with Mts & Loch View En-suite Room with shower/bath. Relax and unwind in a room with a spectacular view of the Arrochar Alps and the loch. With a king size bed, and a shower over a large bath, this room is perfect for a couple wanting true serenity. The bath is nice to relax in. There’s also a small desk, a sitting chair and a luggage rack and wardrobe.Tranquility Base Among Mts. & Loch En-suite Room with shower. This is a room unto itself on the ground floor, away from the other rooms in the BNB. It’s light and airy with stag accents and tartan wallpaper. The room has a king size antique wooden poster bed with windows ahead that have views of the Arrochar Alps, the garden and the Loch. It also has a working desk, a closet for extra storage space, a luggage rack, and a door right outside the room which you are welcome to access to come and go. From the front door, the room can be accessed through the guest lounge and gift shop on the ground floor.Stags in the Garden Quaint Private Room En-suite Room with shower. Very private room with a king size brass bed plus a pull out double sofa in case you have a child or extra adult staying with you..Views to the side garden of house show our greenhouse. You might even catch a glimpse of our stags and the little fox who we’ve fondly named Moxy! This room is truly peaceful and quiet, located at the back of the house upstairs. You’ll sleep soundly!

This is what a holiday should be!Fascadail Country Guest House, built in 1825 by a local doctor, later became home to his son, Barclay Henry—a renowned Scottish painter. During wartime, the property was used by the British Admiralty. After World War II, it was transformed into a bed and breakfast and continues to welcome guests to this day. Each room is inspired by Scottish wildlife, featuring themes like stags, deer, foxes, sheep, wolves, and Highland coos. From your window, enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, lush gardens, and the loch. Even on stormy days, Fascadail remains cosy, warm, and full of light—especially when the owners light the fire in the inviting family room.
